    1. What is a Miles & More Credit Card?

    The Miles & More Axis Bank Cards are Chip & PIN secured credit cards in corporation with Miles & More and Axis Bank Ltd in India. Axis Bank Ltd. is the issuer.

    As Miles & More Credit Card holder you hold 2 cards (the Miles & More service card as per your status in blue, silver, gold or black and the Miles & More Credit Card). Make sure you carry both in your wallet to get the benefit of mileage promotions. You can earn award miles with transactions on your credit card AND accelerated award miles with your service card at selected Miles & More partners.

    What is a legitimation?

    To apply for a Miles & More Credit Card an identity proof is necessary. You need to present the following documents:

    • Pan Card photocopy or Form 60
    • Income Proof: Latest pay slip/ Form 16/ IT Return copy
    • Residence Proof: Passport/ Ration Card/ Electricity bill/ Landline Telephone bill
    • Copy of latest Miles & More Membership card statement (for existing Miles & More members only)
    • Only for existing Miles & More Credit Card customers: Credit card statement of existing Miles & More credit card (not older than 2 months) issued by Miles & More's earlier Banking partner in India

    Why do I need to present all these documents?

    Every card applicant needs to run though the legitimation proof process as per RBI Guidline RBI/2013-14/60 DBOD.No.FSD.BC. 4/24.01.011/2013-14


    Therefore the complete documentation is essential while applying for a Miles & More credit card. Thank you for your support, which will help Axis Bank to process your card application even faster.

    I am missing my miles – what can I do?

    Award miles will be credited to your miles account automatically. Welcome Miles for your new Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card will be credited only after your first transaction has taken place and your first credit card statement has been issued. All award miles earned with your Credit Card transactions will be credited monthly to your miles account. The credit will take place after your monthly statement has been issued. Usually at the end of each month.

    If you are missing award miles from a Miles & More partner (other than Axis Bank Ltd.) or you’ve missed to show your Miles & More Service Card to get accelerated miles at selected Miles & More Partners you can retrospectively ask for miles credits by filling up the form.

    How can I earn miles?

    With your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card you can earn miles on eligible* spends and everywhere where MasterCard® is accepted. You will earn 4 award miles per 200 INR and with your Miles &More Axis Bank World 6 award miles per 200 INR with your World Select Card.

    * Eligible spend transactions are defined as spends excluding reversals, fraud transactions, fee payments, cash withdrawals, interest charges, EMI transactions, transactions identified under Merchant Category Code of Fuel.

    Further, as Miles & More member you can easily earn accelerated miles by showing your Miles & More membership card e.g. at Lufthansa check In counters or when you buy something with your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card at various Miles & More Partners, locally in India and abroad.

    How do I know that I have earned miles?

    All eligible* transactions will be visible in your credit card statement. They are marked with a Lufthansa crane symbol. Your credit card statement is been issued monthly. Only after the credit card statement has been issued and published to you, the miles will be credited automatically to your Miles & More account. Once the credit has taken place you will be able to redeem the miles for the award of your choice.

    Why am I not earning miles on fuel?

    Instead of Miles the Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card provides you a 2.5% surcharge refund on your fuel transactions between Rs. 400 and Rs. 5,000 at all petrol pumps in India.

    Can award miles earned with my Credit Card, be deducted from my account?

    Yes, your miles can be deduced in cases of returned purchases e.g. if you return a good to the merchant or you cancel a hotel booking etc. In such a case, the former credit of miles will get debited from your Miles & More account and will reflect in your next month’s credit card statement.

    In case of fraudulent use, theft or counterfeiting of the Credit Card or in case of any claim, reversal and/or dispute arising from the use of the Credit Card, the relevant miles will not be credited to the miles account. If such miles have been already credited to the cardholder, the same will be deducted by Miles & More.

    Do I need to carry 2 cards in my wallet to collect miles?

    Yes. We recommend carrying both the cards. The Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card and the Miles & More service card.

    Your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card combines all payment functions of a Credit Card and will earn you miles for every eligible* transaction. Very comfortable for you, with every credit card usage for eligible spends, your miles will be credited automatically on monthly basis to your miles account, initiated by Axis Bank.
    Your Miles & More Service Card is your “entry” for accelerated award Miles at selected Miles & More partners around the globe. The service card will also help you to earn status miles on Lufthansa and selected partner airlines to become a frequent flyer with a whole world of benefits connected with flying (know more).

    Please note that for earning and redeeming miles the 15- digit Miles & More Service Card number is of importance.

    How can I redeem my miles?

    You can chose from a variety of awards to redeem your miles, e.g. travel awards or award tickets, for shopping and lifestyle or donate them. Get yourself inspired

    Will my miles expire when I don’t redeem them in time?

    No, for Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card holders earned Miles are protected from expiration. Miles will not expire after 36 month when you meet the following conditions:

    • You are a Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card holder for at least 3 months*; and
    • Each month at least one (1) purchase is done with your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card which is eligible for miles (that is not returned or refunded).

    * Pls note, when you freshly hold a Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card, in the first 3 month of your Credit Card ownership Miles still can expire partially.

    Award miles that already expired cannot be reactivated by using the Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card.

    If you are a Frequent Travelers, Senators or HON Circle Members the “no-mileage-expiration feature” is not relevant for you due to your status, miles will not expire as long as you hold the status.
    When you decide to cancel your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card for all miles collected with your credit card, the mile expiry is reactivated again as per Miles & More terms & conditions.

    What is included in my Credit Card Statement?

     

    • Transaction details like amount, date and merchant details for your transaction
    • Total & Minimum Amount due
    • Total miles accrued for the month
    • Billing/Statement period, amount due and the date on which the amount is due.
    • Your total credit and cash limit on your credit card

    How can I clear my credit card balance?

    There are different options available for you to clear your Credit Card bill:

    Payment through Axis Bank savings account –

    • Auto Debit
    • Online
    • ATM

    Others –

    • ECS – Auto Debit from any other bank account*
    • Funds transfer through NEFT from any Bank account
    • Cheque/draft deposit at any Axis Bank branch/ATM
    • Cash payment at Axis Bank branched

    *The most convenient way for you is to apply for Auto-debit and pay your bill from either Axis Bank account or any other bank account via bill payment. Please download the ECS forms (both Part A and Part B) and send the completely filled forms through post to the address mentioned on the form.

    How is my cross boarder spend been handled?

    All cross border spends will be billed to customers in INR. The foreign currency transaction amount will also be mentioned alongside (in brackets).
    A foreign currency transaction fee of 3.5%(and service tax of 12.36%) of the transaction value would be applicable on all such transactions.

    Does any fee apply for my Credit Card statement?

    Yes, will be specified at the time of your credit card application and also mentioned in the welcome letter (included in the Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card welcome kit.)

    When will I receive my Credit Card statement?

    Your statement will be dispatched via e-mail to you. Your statement would be attached as a PDF and secured with a passcode, which the logic of which will be provided to as a part of the same e-mail . Your physical statement will be dispatched to you usually at the end of the month.

    6. What is my Credit Card limit?

    You credit card limit will be assigned to you as per the Bank’s internal credit policies & guidelines. The limit allocated t you would be mentioned as a part of the welcome letter (included in the Miles & More welcome kit)

    How can I increase my limit?

    The 'Credit limit' is the maximum amount you can spend or borrow using your Credit Card in one billing cycle. This limit is based on various factors relating to your income. The credit limit can be changed on the basis of your payment and transaction history.

    I have a new status, is there any implication to the credit card?

    No, there is no implication on your Credit Card. You will receive a new Miles & More Service Card with a new Miles & More Service number, showing your new status. Your new Miles & More Service number is connected to your Miles account, so is your Miles & More Credit Card. You will continue to earn miles on your account automatically without any effort from your site.

    8. Credit Card validity, Lost, stolen, broken Credit Card, Emergency Card, PIN forgotten, change of personal data

    Credit Card validity, Replacement Credit Card, Pin re-print:

    • Members may call the Axis Bank customer care at 1800-209-5577 or 1800-103-5577 or write in to premium.cards@axisbank.com
    • HON circle or Senator members may alternatively place a request with their dedicated Relationship Managers for Credit Card validity, broken Credit Card(for replacement card), re-print of PIN.

    However, for all transactions/requests such as Card blocking owing to Lost/Stolen card, Change of personal data or any other requests of a financial nature, you may call the Axis Bank customer care at 1800-209-5577 or 1800-103-5577.

    9. My credit card expiry date is near, when will I receive my renewal card?

    You will receive your renewed credit card before the month that your old card is due to expire.

    10. My Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card is broken. How do I get a replacement card?

     

    • Please place a request on premium.cards@axisbank.com or you may call 1800-209-5577 or 1800-103-5577
    • HON circle or Senator member may alternatively place a request with their dedicated RMs for the same.

    11. I’ve forgotten/lost my PIN. Do I get a new one?

    Yes, please place a request on premium.cards@axisbank.com or you may call 1800-209-5577 or 1800-103-5577

    12. I’ve blocked my card by entering 3-times a wrong PIN. What shall I do?

    Please contact the Axis Bank Customer Care on 1800-209-5577 or 1800-103-5577.

    13. How can I make changes of my personal data?

    Please place a request on the Axis Bank IVR, post authentication the request will be processed.

    How do SMS Transaction alerts work?

    When you initiate a purchase with your Credit Card you will receive an alert on your phone stating the amount and the merchant name for your reference check.

    Will I receive my alerts while I am travelling?

    Yes. You will also receive SMS transaction alerts while you are traveling and spending with your Miles & More Axis Bank Credit Card.

    When will my insurance cover be active – only when I used my Credit Card?
